♥ - "I Hate It..." - ♥

I hate
that I cannot cry
when i want
i hate that I cry
when I should not
I wish i had
some semblance of control
over my emotions
But unfortunately, they control me..
they control me.

they beat me when I am down,
they hit me when I cannot handle them;
so I try to run from them,
I try to hide them,
to push them away...

I wish i knew another way
to do this,
how can i teach myself
to show my emotions
after so long...

 I made choices
not to feel
I made choices
to hide
I made choices
to cry
I made choices
that have led to a solace
which controls my life...

it controls each step I take
for everything I involve myself in
i have to take into consideration
my weaknesses...

♥ - YES, You Can - ♥

Sometimes people come into your life and you know right away that they were meant to be there, they serve some sort of purpose, teach you a lesson or help figure out who you are or who you want to become. You never know who these people may be; your roommate, neighbor, professor, long lost friend, lover or even a complete stranger who, when you lock eyes with them, you know that very moment that they will affect your life in some profound way.

Sometimes things happen to you and at the time they seem horrible, painful and unfair, but in reflection you realize that without overcoming those obstacles you would have never realized your potential, strength, will power or heart. Everything happens for a reason. Nothing happens by chance or by means of good or bad luck. Illness, injury, love, lost moments of true greatness and sheer stupidity all occur to test the limits of your soul.

Without these small tests, whether they be events, illnesses or relationships, life would be like a smoothly paved, straight, flat road to nowhere. Safe and comfortable but dull and utterly pointless. The people you meet affect your life and the successes and downfalls you experience: they are the ones who create who you are. Even the bad experiences can be learned from. Those lessons are the hardest and probably the most important ones.

If someone hurts you, betrays you or breaks your heart, forgive them, for they have helped you learn about trust and the importance of being cautious to who you open your heart to.

If someone loves you, love them back unconditionally, not only because they love you, but because they are teaching you to love and opening your heart and eyes to things you would have never seen or felt without them.

Make everyday count. Appreciate every moment and take from it everything you possibly can, for you may never be able to experience it again.

Talk to people you have never talked to before and actually listen.

Let yourself fall in love.

Break free and set your sights high.

Hold your head up because you have every right to. Tell yourself you are a great individual and believe in yourself, for if you don't believe in yourself, no one else will believe in you either.

You can make your life anything you wish. Create your own life, then go out and live it! You can be, you can have, you can do whatever you can imagine.

♥ - A LESSON OF FAITH - ♥

He suffered,
and his woes were many
...but he had faith.

He was tempted
yet he resisted
...because he had faith.

He was cast out
and betrayed
... but he had faith.

He bore the cross
for humanity,
... because he had faith.

He was placed in a sepulcher,
but he arose,
because he never lost faith
in God,
or in you and me.

Remember him,
this Easter,
and his lessons of faith...
 as if light behind
stained glass.

ღ - HEAVEN - ღ

We read of  place that's called Heaven,
It's made for the pure and the free,
These truths in God's Word He hath given,
How beautiful Heaven must be!

 In Heaven no drooping nor pining,
No wishing for elsewhere to be,
God's light is forever there shining,
How beautiful Heaven must be!

 Pure waters of life there  flowing,
And all who will drink may be free,
Rare jewels of splendor are glowing
How beautiful Heaven must be!

The angels so sweetly are singing,
Up there by the beautiful sea,
Sweet chords from their gold harps are ringing
How beautiful Heaven must be!

 How beautiful Heaven must be,
Sweet home of the happy and free,
Fair haven of rest for the weary
How beautiful Heaven must be!

~ MY SONG OF LOVE ~

MY SONG OF LOVE

My song of love is just for you,
Though I'm not sure how to start,
I only know, my darling,
You have become my heart.

You are the essence of my being,
The soul mate of my soul,
We may be two, but we are one,
Two halves that are made whole.

God in all His wisdom,
Picked the time and picked the place,
For us to meet each other,
Eye to eye and face to face.

I cannot measure how I love you,
Though depth and breadth both come to mind,
The height to which you've lifted me,
No way can I define.

I'll whisper words of love to you,
Or, indeed, I'll shout them out,
A gift you are, by grace, to me,
You are the heartbeat of my heart.

I wish that I could give you
Much more than I will take,
That's not possible, my darling,
The scales will not equate.

You are the cause of my existence,
The reason I am here,
I dedicate my song and self,
To you with love, my dear.

xx-- Lead a Simple Life... -- >>

It may take years for us to find out what we are really after - it is to be happy. The Elders say, lead a simple life. This doesn't necessarily mean poor, it means simple. There are some things that makes life complicated such as needing control,  power or being resentful, greedy and anger. These things make complications happen. We need to walk in balance in every area of our lives.

Sometimes, life is very simple, but it is we, we who are thought to be smart,  make it complicated.

SCRIPTURE:
Psalm 16:1   Preserve me, O God, for I take refuge in You.

Psalm 121:5   The LORD is your keeper;
                 The LORD is your shade on your right hand.
                 The sun will not smite you by day, nor the moon by         night
                 The LORD will protect you from all evil; He will keep your soul.
                 The LORD will guard your going out and your coming in from this time
                                  forth and forever.

Isaiah 26:3   "You will keep in perfect peace the steadfast of mind, because he trusts in You, LORD."

Matthew11:28"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. "Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls; For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."

PRAYER:
O Holy Spirit of GOD
Come into my heart and fill me
Make Christ to be formed in me
I open the window of my soul to let Jesus in
I surrender my whole life
Come and possess me, fill me with light and truth.
I offer to You the one thing I really possess,
My capacity for being filled by You
Of myself I am an empty vessel
Fill me so that I may live the life of the Spirit
The life of truth and goodness
The life of wisdom and strength.

I accept Jesus as Lord and Savior
Forgive me of my sins
That I may dethrone self in my heart
And make Him king
So that He may be in me and I in Him
Today and forever more, Amen.

WISDOM
Christ's cleansing power can remove the most stubborn stain of sin and give you peace.
Pray as if everything depends on God, work as if everything depends on you.

HAPPY EASTER TO EVERYONE !

xx-- SPEAK GENTLY -- >>

Speak gently! -- It is better far
To rule by love, than fear ...
Speak gently -- let not harsh words mar
The good we might do here!

Speak gently! -- Love doth whisper low
The vows that true hearts bind;
And gently friendship's accents flow;
Affection's voice is kind.

Speak gently to the little child!
Its love be sure to gain;
Teach it in accents soft and mild: --
It may not long remain.

Speak gently to the young,
for they will have enough to bear --
Pass through this life as best they may,
it's full of anxious care!

Speak gently to the aged one,
Grieve not the care-worn heart;
The sands of life are nearly run,
Let such in peace depart!

Speak gently, kindly, to the poor;
Let no harsh tone be heard;
They have enough they must endure,
Without an unkind word!

Speak gently to the erring --
know, They may have toiled in vain;
Perhaps unkindness made them so;
Oh, win them back again!

Speak gently! -- He who gave his life
To bend man's stubborn will,
When elements were in fierce strife,
Said to them, 'Peace, be still.'

Speak gently! -- it is a little thing
Dropped in the heart's deep well;
The good, the joy, which it may bring,
Eternity shall tell.
