how can you lose someone that was never yours?
I keep on believing the unspoken promises that you could never keep. all those loving expressions you sowed are but empty words I reaped. when the night comes around, you linger on my mind, but all thoughts of me die as your sun hits the sky.
I am left in an ocean of fantasies and hopes, wretched and all alone, I'm drowning in my trap. will I ever survive or will I have to give up? I'm holding on to you or do I need to let go?
